A hill top south of Waiouru revealed a variety of vivid photographic studies:
snowy vistas, second-growth, stumps, a mill tramway and the concrete bed
of the sawmill's engine, as well as a park-like model farm that retains the
beauty of the rock outcrops, forest remnants and wetlands.
