....More than a thousand sat around in the warm afternoon sun ("No snow or rain this year, eh!") watching the laid back competitions. A hill climb, with wild hoots of laughter when someone fell off. A running race - but you must wear a bike helmet. A slow race - last bike across the line wins, but don't put your foot on the ground. A competition to eat a dangling sausage while riding under it. A wheelie competition - and more wild hoots when another rider lost control and hit the dirt.
